Recently a research team, along with the collaboration of the BMW and Porsche companies, was able to produce a charging station for 450 kWh electric cars.
The prototype of the device was manufactured in Germany, and in just three minutes, it could store the energy needed to travel for l 100 kilometers in the electric car battery.
Accordingly, the full charge of a BMW i3 battery from 10% to 80% will require only 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, the most powerful Tesla electric charging stations are only 145 kilowatts per hour. Tesla plans to increase the capacity of its electric car charging stations from 145 to 250 kilowatt hours next year and will not even compete with the new electric car charger.
Earlier than this invention, another company called Electrify America had started to produce its fast-charging stations with a capacity of 350 kwh.
